Pinnacle Point - WebGL

----------------------------------

Overview:

Dive into the eerie depths of Pinnacle Point, a short narrative-driven exploration game where secrets lie hidden in the shadows of a mysterious research facility attempting to extend life using a mysterious new product. Navigate the blurred lines between reality and beyond in this mystery-thriller set in an alternate 1980's.

Note: I have included the Windows version of the game if you have performance issues in WebGL

Note: The windows version is superior to the WebGL version but content is all here.

Prototype:

This is a story setup with about 10-15 minutes of gameplay.  I am looking for feedback before committing to develop it further. I would be targeting 3 hours of gameplay in the full version. I am looking for any kind of feedback: positive or negative to help me decide if I have peaked your interest at all. Let me know in the comments and I am grateful to you in advance for taking the time to play it and/or to comment on it.

It's a great start but the camera needs to be reworked, it can get stuck between walls.
The dialogue needs to be skippable if you spam the interact button (like most dialogue in games)
The security guard sending you back to the title screen when answering questions wrong doesn't feel good.

Otherwise, great cinematography on the scenes. Good luck :)

Good feedback. Thanks!

Another cool playthrough.

Great demo! Looking forward to the full game!

Hey, thank you for that! It’s a wonderful feeling seeing someone else playing the game I made :)

Hey, just for the fun of it I released a new version taking into account your suggestions. I made the stealth mission much more clear that you CAN indeed do it in stealth. And i gave the security guard more time before he notices you. Either way you will get the puzzle part no matter what but you get an extra bonus dialog if you sneak past him.

I can see how I wasn’t clear enough in the last version, so great feedback!

(If you want to test it, go to “About” menu, there you will find a “Select Stage” easter egg where you can quickly load up the SecurityRoom)

Yep, tested it both sneaking past and getting caught trying too! Nice addition
